You're not allowed to stand for anything in politics without being in it for the money?

Kez's cv is political from tip of the hair to the toes. It's the johhny-come-lately Headmaster turned politician you have to raise questions about if you ask me....

I've much more time for someone who has spent his life working elsewhere and made a decent fist of it too, before getting into politics - as opposed to shop stewards of course.

I suppose it's just as likely that Johnny come lately headmaster just fancies a wee shot at the gravy train too though, having seen the woeful sepcimens that do actually get a run at it...

My take is that Ms. Dugdale is in it for a career, and the Labour party probably have her marked as a good un with potential, so are giving her a bit of experience with this. After all, she's helped Foulksey come up with all those clever questions for parliament...
